You Are Enough
I’m not sure if I even need to explain this to you, Akchita, but I’m going to try anyways. You are enough. This simple fact, which is true, has been one of the hardest lessons you have ever learned. It h as taken you 27 years to come to a place where you can say this out loud without cringing, but small part of your still doesn’t completely believe it.
You. Are. Enough.
It doesn’t matter how loud you are. It doesn’t matter how many mistakes* you make. It doesn’t matter that you’re not where you want to be in your life. None of that matters. None of the reasons I mentioned, or didn’t mention, are enough for you to not be enough. You have a tendency to overthink every action you’ve taken, every word you have uttered out loud, or every chance you didn’t take. None of that makes you less of a person deserving of love or kindness or friendship.
You are enough.
*Mistakes within reason. Another lesson you have learned is to own when you’ve made a mistake that you need to accept and apologize for.
