If there are two aspects of my life that has never changed over the years it is my love for quotes and Spring. Anything and everything that comes with Spring is my favorite. I love when the flowers blossom and life just seems to come back to the earth. The thunderstorms and the smell of the earth after an amazing storm just make my day.
Spring to me means the resurgence after the cold, dark months and it’s a big part of life as well. Even though New Years is the time for resolutions, Spring is when I fully allow myself to get back on track in case I fall off. It’s my favorite time of the year and it’s when I really want to go after my goal.
But what is the point of all of this talk about Spring? Well, if it’s not obvious already, I’m struggling to blog on here. I made a goal to truly get back to blogging because I missed it so much but I have only posted 8 times in 2019! That is not a good number!
Along with what Spring presents for me, the tag line for my blog is this:
I began this blog for myself. For my present self to get back into writing and sharing my thoughts with the world and being on this joinery of life. Like the Lao Tzu quote above, I wanted to begin with that single step to get myself on this journey.
This post and these two reminders are what I want to have in order to get back to blogging and sharing my thoughts with the world. I don’t know who is reading (if anyone) but I want to begin again and take that step to get on this journey. I will probably have periodic updates about my journey so I hope you’ll stick around for that.
