Rest and Rejuvenation Day 27: Mind, Body, Soul

Topic of the Day:
Horoscopes, Tarot, Oracles, Meditation and More

One of the best things I got out of 2020 was my drive to better my mind, body and soul through guided work. Not only did I begin my journey with reading tarot and oracle cards, I also reached out to people to get their help on my journey. I have always been an incredibly intuitive person—confirmed by everyone who read for me—but I didn’t always know how to channel that institution. Luckily for me, I was able to find three incredible people in 2020 who helped me better understand myself and my circumstances. No, I didn’t get all of life’s answers but it was incredible to have people affirm certain aspects of my life. As I mentioned, I have always felt very intuitive but I didn’t know if it was in my head and why I was this way. I was able to get some much needed answers to both of these concerns. Leaving 2020, I knew deep down that I needed to continue on this journey into the new year. I won’t go into too many details in this post but I felt like sharing this on the blog.

Tarot and Oracle Cards

I think that I have a good set of oracle decks and one set of Tarot cards. I have a very strong connection to the oracle decks that I own and I want to focus on continuing to build that connection. Tarot cards, on the other hand, or a little bit harder for me to read so I will definitely be working to get better at that as well.

Horoscopes

I have been reading horoscopes since I was a child. Horoscope, palm reading, and birth charts have been a big part of my childhood and now adulthood. Not only are they big in my culture but they are very important in my family. I have one app that I love to read every single day and I want to continue that tradition in 2021. But I want to expand on that and potentially start a journal where I write down my feelings about my horoscope for the day. They obviously don’t think that every single thing that is written is going to impact me or even be relevant to me, but it’s enough that I want to understand them better.

Manifesting

If there was one thing I learned in 2020, it was the fact that I hold myself back quite a lot. Manifesting is one practice I want to improve on to help with this. I have been reading articles and watching videos on the best practices for manifesting.

Chakra work

I have also known about chakras for most of my life but I have not always been good at working on them. I know which chakras I need to work on opening and listening to it so that is going to be one of my focuses in 2021. I am honestly so excited to get on this journey for my mind, body, and soul. I have always been a religious/spiritual person but I have not always given myself the chance to understand how I truly feel. Like I mentioned above, I hold myself back quite a lot because enough self-doubt has entered my mind that it is almost impossible to get rid of. However, 2021 has a brand new year and a new chance to be the best version of myself.

They’ve helped me calm myself down during anxious moments and moments of low self esteem. I have definitely noticed a shift in my self image by repeating affirmations often.

That’s why I’ve decided that every month I’ll share affirmations I’m trying to embody!

It hasn’t been difficult because I don’t know what to post or I haven’t gotten the graphics made. No, it’s been difficult because I can’t get out of my own head.

I keep thinking that trying to create content isn’t the best idea for me. I keek thinking that I’m not good at this even though I’ve barely tried.

So, this post is me trying to get out of my head! It’s a commitment I’m making to myself and to you that I won’t give up trying!
